Domenico Crolla is the Pizza Designer of the Year 2009
The finals of the Pizza Designer of the Year Competition 2009 took place at the Pizza, Pasta and Italian Food Industry Awards held on 12th November 2009 at the Lancaster Hotel, London.
Following a series of regional heats and national finals this year's individual Pizza Designer of the Year Award goes to Domenico Crolla from Bella Napoli in Glasgow
Domenico was chosen as the overall winner out of the winners each of the four sponsor categories.

About the Competition
This competition aims to encourage new product development in the pizza restaurant/delivery market and comprises a series of four categories where entrants are required to develop a recipe in at least two categories using the sponsors ingredients. Judges decide winners in each category plus an overall winner as Pizza Designer of the Year.
