These awards are given to independent pizza restaurants (with less than 10 sites where pizza is the predominant item on the menu) that set a standard for others to follow.

Judging

Judges will focus particularly on standards in terms of product, service and overall atmosphere.

All restaurants must have a minimum hygiene rating of five. 

Gold awards will be presented to a maximum of six regional winners with a platinum award presented to the restaurant considered to be exceptional.
